Survivors Week Recordings are Available!

We had a wonderful time celebrating “Survivors Week” with all of you! Over 100 individuals participated in our events, and many participated in more than one!

If you missed some of the sessions, you can find all the recordings at www.cancerservicesonline.org/survivorsweek. If you would like the art supplies to do the Art and Wellness program, give us a call in the office to arrange a time for pick up!

Please let us know if you are interested in attending any, or ALL, of these upcoming programs, which will be held online using Zoom technology. You can use a computer, tablet or smart phone to join and we are happy to assist you!

We’re proud of how you all have adapted and we have very much enjoyed “seeing you” in our online programs and through email and phone calls. We do miss seeing you in person, and we prioritize your health and safety. For the foreseeable future, we will continue offering programs virtually.

    Transitions is a 4-week program that Cancer Services offers for our community. It is designed to answer “What’s Next?” after cancer treatment. Click here for more details.

LOOKING FORWARD TO OCTOBER

Pink Ribbon Talks Breast Cancer Survivor Conference is going virtual for 2020! Our kick off to breast cancer awareness month will be on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am – 12:30pm with a medical panel, expert panel and survivor speaker. We will have goodie bags for breast cancer survivors to pick up at our office beforehand!

Cooking for 2: Cook to Thrive! Survivorship Cooking Class Recording & Recipes

Julie hosted a Cook to Thrive! Survivorship Cooking Class in August. It was a fun group of 34 people logged in. They asked lots of great questions and the recipes are delicious!

Hirsch Wellness Network!

Hirsch would be happy to have Cancer Services’ clients join in on their classes and there are many to choose from! All are free of charge!

Hirsch Wellness Network, located in Greensboro, was founded in 2008 and offers cancer patients/survivors/caregivers a variety of wellness programs and they are currently all offered online!
