We are planning a lot of great programming for the fall, so be sure to keep an eye on your calendar and mailbox for all our communications. Here are a few Fall save the dates!

THIS MONTH’S NUTRITION WEBINAR:
What are plant-based foods? Should I follow plant-based eating? Is it hard to be plant-based?
During this webinar Julie will be sharing the current nutrition reccomendations for cancer survivors and explaining the basics of plant based eating. Throughout the webinar, we will learn how to incorporate daily habits that promote health and healing.

The Eat The Rainbow Challenge Begins July 17th!
A 12-week series designed to help you understand the facts and myths about fruits and vegetables and why they are important for cancer survivors. Challenge yourself to increase your fruit and vegetable intake with us!
Art and Wellness on Thursday, July 27th from 2-4pm
A wellness group focused on healing through art in partnership with the Sawtooth School for Visual Arts. Supplies will be available for pick up at Cancer Services the week before the class.
IN PERSON at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center in Lewisville.
Healing Hands appointment times are available. Complete the registration form to receive more information.
We have a variety of healing touch appointments available. If you’re interested, simply register through our website and respond to the confirmation email. We will get you scheduled as soon as we can!

Healing Hands Programs help you relax and improve your stress. We have amazing volunteer practitioners who are available to schedule you for massage, healing touch or facial. Just call our office to reserve your spot! (Note that we prioritize those who are in active treatment, or recently completed treatment).
