Health Tip Tuesday!
One unhealthy habit many of us have is serving ourselves portion sizes that are out of control! For one week, measure out foods you serve yourself so you can get a visual idea of how much one serving is. Aim to get 1 cup fruit and/or veggies at mealtimes.. Another way to keep portion sizes low is to use plates and bowls that aren’t so large. Cover 1/2 the plate in fruits/veggies, 1/4 of the plate with grains and 1/4 of the plate with protein.
