Greetings Cancer Services Supporters,

As Summer is fast approaching, I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on a very busy and productive last few months and update you on what’s coming up.

What a night to remember! Our Cancer Services 23rd Annual Wrapped Up In Ribbons Auction & Benefit held on April 27 was a resounding success, and it’s all thanks to your incredible support. This event honors and celebrates cancer survivors, and what a colorful celebration it was!

We surpassed our fundraising goal, raising over $238,000!
Thanks to our 64 Event Sponsors whose generosity led the way to success!!
We hosted the event at the Intergenerational Center for Arts & Wellness. This collaborative space offers vital healthcare services and enriching arts activities to all generations in Forsyth County and Cancer Services is proud to be a partner!!

Our 2023 Cancer Services Annual Report was released highlighting the impact we have made on the lives of cancer patients and their families. See the full report below.

Our 2024 Annual Meeting was held on May 14, and Dr. Patricia Zekan was elected President of our Board of Directors. We also recognized that 91% of our resources go to direct services; our Endowment Fund is up 7%; and we received $219,295 in Third Party Fundraisers, up 27% from 2022 ~ demonstrating tremendous community support.

Looking ahead…. We have our 33^rd Annual Cancer Survivors Day on June 1 at the Intergenerational Center for Arts & Wellness; and Parrot Heads in Paradise “Slice of the Island” event at the Last Resort Winston-Salem on June 22 from 4-10 pm (a portion of the proceeds will go to Cancer Services).
