You are not alone.
Cancer Services is the Triad’s community of caring for people facing cancer and has served cancer patients in the community for 65 years.
WE CHOOSE HOPE
We strive to eliminate health disparities for everyone, facing any type of cancer, from every race and socio-economic background. We stand ready to help and want to assure the community that we have zero tolerance for racial injustice. Our mission is to “Enhance Health, Life and Survivorship” and we will work to fulfill our mission while encouraging compassion and understanding in all of our pursuits. We are grateful to our community and share our thanks for community members and partners that help support our work.
WE ADVOCATE
We utilize a Patient Advocate Team model to assess client needs, secure financial and treatment support services, provide equipment and supplies, and connect clients to agency, local, and national resources. Over $48 million in resources were accessed for cancer survivors in our community last year.
WE EDUCATE
We target at-risk populations, motivating and educating participants in evidence-based programs to initiate and maintain healthy lifestyles with a goal of reducing cancer risk and recurrence.
WE EMPOWER
We create opportunities for cancer survivors and caregivers to gain valuable information, develop connections for support, address the visual effects of cancer treatment on appearance, and develop confidence in living beyond cancer. Over 5,700 cancer survivors connected with our agency last year.
You are a Survivor.
Cancer survivors are those living with, through, and beyond a cancer diagnosis and includes those supporting someone with a cancer diagnosis.
Appearance Support
Cancer Services provides an Appearance Boutique for cancer patients in our community who are in need of items such as wigs, hats, scarves, turbans, and more. All items are provided at no cost.

I can only say wonderful things about Cancer Services. If I ever find out someone has cancer, I stress how helpful they are. Such a blessing!
